Our bridal beauty team has styled countless brides in each of these French Châteaus, and we can vouch for their hospitality and prestige.
I. Château de Villette
Nicknamed “Le Petit Versailles,”(or Little Versailles), Château de Villette was built by the architect and landscape designer for Château de Versailles. At only 1 hour from Paris, you’ll feel like a queen in her castle if you get married in this exquisite venue.
The property has all you need for an intimate French destination wedding: seven suites and seven bedrooms for your immediate family, a swimming pool for the day-after party, an elegant ballroom in case of rainy weather, a French garden park with two lakes on the premises, a glass house, an orangery, and a towering fountain.
For this Château de Villette bridal editorial photoshoot, we featured different bridal makeup and hair looks in all the unique bedrooms and spaces around the castle. Their bleu room will wow and impress all your guests! Here are some of our favorite looks from this shoot.
Visit The Heritage Collection’s website for more information on luxury French destination weddings at Château de Villette, or their 3 other properties in Italy.

II. Château de Champlâtreux
Château de Champlatreux is conveniently located 15 minutes from Charles de Gaulle Airport, and 30 minutes from Paris. It can hold up to 450 guests for a seated dinner…or 650 for a cocktail reception!
The lavish interiors feature 4 large reception rooms, designed in the Louis XV style with period furniture! In its hey-day, it served as a summer home and event space for its occupants, the Parisian parliamentary Molé family.
You’ll love the beautiful parquet floors of the vestibule, and classic Château decor. Guests will enjoy looking out onto the French-style park from the Grand salon and drawing-room windows.

For this Château de Champlatreux bride, we kept the hair loosely pulled back into a romantic low bun, with a vibrant but not bold bridal makeup look to pair with her spring bouquet. In fact, you can see more of her look now in their wedding brochure.
III. Château Bouffemont
Located 35 minutes from Paris, and 20 from Charles de Gaulle Airport, Château Bouffemont is a beautiful and convenient destination wedding venue.
Built during the reign of Napoleon III by the Vallee Family, the estate covers five hectares of land and provides an exceptional setting for receptions: 9 suites, 3 dining halls, 1 dance hall, and 1 lounge. It can hold 200 guests for a seated dinner, 250 guests for a cocktail and 30 guests for onsite accommodations.
We can’t get over the sunlit bedrooms in neutral tones, and your guests will love the view from the balcony! And brides...you will MOST CERTAINLY appreciate the beautiful bathrooms. The tubs are to die for and perfect for soaking in the night before your wedding!
For her Château Bouffemont destination wedding, our bride wanted to wear her platinum blonde hair mostly down, with some hair tucked back… which kept the hair out of her face when the wind would blow. For her bridal makeup look, she wanted a bold smokey eye and nude, glossy lip color, her look was truly fit for a fairytale Chateau wedding!

IV. Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte
Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte is an exclusive, sumptuous destination wedding venue in France, a little over an hour away from Paris.
The estate was built by Louis Le Vau for Nicolas Fouquet, a French minister of Finance under the king Louis XIV. Fouquet loved to party and wanted his Chateau to reflect that. At Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, your wedding guests will enjoy the expansive gardens, opulent interiors, and beautiful artwork.
Since the venue is open to the public during the day, your destination wedding will have to take place before or after visiting hours, or you can privatize the venue for an intimate and highly exclusive wedding.
For this Bridal magazine cover shoot photographed by Greg Finck at Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, we kept the makeup look soft except for a pop of color on the lips, to harmonize with the vintage lace lingerie, modern wedding gowns…and LIVING flower dress! The hair was pulled back into a chic twisted braid, and adorned with two hand tied silk bows - a vision by the photo shoot’s creative director, Joy Proctor.

V. Château de Chantilly
Arguably one of the most famous French castles, Château de Chantilly is located 40 minutes from Paris. During the day, it’s a museum for the public…but in the evening, you can privatize it for your destination wedding!
This castle was built by the Duke of Aumale, son of the last King of France, Louis-Philippe. This prince, who is the greatest collector of his time and made Chantilly the showcase for his countless masterpieces and precious manuscripts. In 1886, it was gifted to Institut de France in 1886, and has remained exactly as it was…meaning your destination wedding will truly feel like it stepped back in time!
Château de Chantilly can host 80-100 guests inside the castle, and 70 in the Maison de Sylvie — a romantic pavilion with elegant French décor, located on the grounds and available for daytime rental.
For this outdoor elopement, the weather was hot and windy, so we pulled the bride’s hair up and away from her face. This kept her cool, and the framing pieces around the face added a romantic element to her look. For her big blue eyes, we emphasized them with bold eyeliner and lashes. Finally, the look was balanced look with a nude lip, custom-blended just for her!

VI. Château de Nainville-les-Roches
Château de Nainville-les-Roches is a 19th century historic property that is now a BRAND NEW chateau venue in the Paris wedding scene.
Free of paintings and blessed with all white millwork, this French chateau wedding venue is perfect for the bride who wants to create her own wedding look and style. Most Château interiors are themed and filled with priceless art, but brides getting married at Château de Nainville-les-Roches won’t have to worry about “marrying” their wedding vision with existing décor; instead, they have a completely blank slate!
This bridal makeup and hairstyle look photographed on the premises features a fresh & bright makeup look with mauves and pinks, and a full, romantic updo with loose side twists. Our creative team took advantage of this venue’s “clean” backdrop and went wild with the florals, dresses, and props, hoping to inspire future brides to do the same for their wedding!

VII. Château de Baronville
Classically beautiful, Château de Baronville has been hosting destination weddings for over 40 years...plus, with it being only 40 minutes from Paris, what’s not to love?
Your destination wedding guests will adore the carousel, the farm and stables, the cottages, the forest, and the vast farm fields that surround it. Brides, you’ll love the large, airy interiors of the getting-ready rooms, and the indoor reception spaces.
To keep our bride’s hair from flying in the wind, we curled it and swept it back in a half-updo, which paired beautifully with the idyllic outdoor grounds of Château de Baronville. For her makeup, we selected a pinky-magenta lip color to coordinate with the pink peonies in her floral bouquet.
